John brings over 20 years of executive business experience
in operations, technology, accounting and strategy.
Currently, as the President and Chief Operating Officer
for Community Force, he is developing a startup venture
that provides an outsourced consumer loyalty program
generating funds for not-for-profit organizations by
harnessing spending habits of supporters.
In recent years, John also worked as a consultant for
EasyJet Airlines. He was instrumental in providing planning
and implementation of a system-wide online/offline reservation
system, which services their entire European operation.
John's executive talents were recognized when he was
recruited as one of four founding employees of Futurestep,
the Internet recruiting subsidiary of Korn-Ferry International.
He built the team and the foundation for the technology
that supported offices in 26 countries with 500 employees.
After the initial start up, John moved into a business
operations role, as Vice President of Operations and
Strategy.
John was the founder and Managing Partner of his own
firm, Lertzman Associates. He built a team of professionals
that provided financial and management consulting services
to a broad range of companies in North America and Europe.
His firm's services included re-engineering, technology
assessment, selection and development, cost and market
analysis of new lines of business, acquisition analysis
and integration, and turnaround consulting. His projects
included a series of ventures that ran for several years
following the reunification of East and West Germany.
This involved the development of financial models to
forecast profitability of projects and investment opportunities
for former state-owned companies in the German Democratic
Republic.
Before venturing out into his own practice, John spent
two years at KPMG in an audit and tax capacity. Following
this, he spent five years in the employ of Price Waterhouse
Consulting, servicing Fortune 1000 companies and state
governments.
