I have over 20+ years experience implementing enterprise-wide information systems and technology at companies such as Apple Computer, Sun Microsystems, Rational Software, Metricom, and currently Loudcloud, an international managed services provider for internet applications. My core competency is building and deploying IT infrastructure and systems that can be leveraged as a service offering directly to the customer base. While CIO of Metricom, I built an IT and applications infrastructure that supported the nationwide deployment of a wireless data network based on Metricom’s unique technology. My applications team developed and deployed end user and reseller systems for coverage information and account activation over the internet. While CIO at Rational Software, I built a global IT infrastructure to support a fourfold increase in revenue and headcount within nine months during Rational’s product expansion phase. While at Sun Microsystems, I managed the applications development group implementing Ecommerce systems for software distribution and sales via the web drawing upon my experience at Apple Computer where I was responsible for implementing integrated logistical planning and supply systems worldwide. Prior to Apple, I was president of his own software/consulting business implementing financial, logistical, and other information systems for banking, government, software, and semi-conductor industries. Currently, I am working as an advisor to The Enterprise Network which is a technology incubator company. I advise the president’s/CEOs of the companies on their product strengths/weaknesses and develop a roadmap for obtaining funding using my experience working on the IPOs of other companies such as Loudcloud.
